PPF Images terms and condtions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully as they serve as the legal basis for all and any work that I may do for you.
Any order placed with PPFIMAGES forms a legally binding contract between “you” the customer and me - David Moore - trading as “PPFIMAGES” and is subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

COPYRIGHT

By placing an order with PPFIMAGES you the customer confirm that you hold and /or have obtained all necessary legal permissions for the work you have requested as set out in the following statement...

"I/we the customer hold the legal copyright and all other necessary legal permissions for all that appears on the media supplied including, but not restricted to, all types of film*, prints*, computer files*, modem transmissions* and internet downloads*.
I/we the customer have obtained the permission of all persons holding copyright and all other necessary permissions for all that appears on the supplied media as described above* and have full rights to request reproduction, restoration, repair & retouching of the supplied content."

PPFIMAGES may ask for copies of such permissions before commencing any work.
PPFIMAGES will not accept any liability for infringement of copyright or any other legal rights in relation to work requested by customers.

Use of images for promotional purposes

PPFIMAGES may use any image it has edited, repaired or restored for promotional purposes only with the permission of the customer if given using the declaration shown below.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

All material should be sent by Recorded or Special delivery. You should also insure all images appropriately. PPFIMAGES will not accept any liability for any loss of or damage to items sent by post.
Items damaged during delivery must be returned with the original packaging before any replacements can be supplied.
If loss or damage occurs as a result of working on images the customer providing such images will indemnify PPFIMAGES against all resultant loss or damage including infringement of copyright, trade marks or other intellectual property rights.
All items returned by post will be sent by Recorded or Special delivery as you choose when ordering.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made by Cash or Cheques and Postal Orders made payable to David Moore.
Payment for return of goods should be made when sending images.
Payment will be due before the final image work is supplied and original materials returned.

Please do not send cash through the post.

IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED

If payment for an order is not received within 30 days of being requested the images will be returned by the method paid for and any work requested will not be carried out.

COSTS

Costs are based on the time spent on each image together with the cost of materials used and overheads. The cost of each job will be made known to the customer on receipt of their order. PPFIMAGES does not currently charge V.A.T.

QUALITY

While PPFIMAGES will try to match image appearance as closely as possible to the original image this cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the processes and materials involved.

COMPLETION DATE

Orders will normally be completed within 28 days of confirmation by the customer that the work is to go ahead. If work is required before 28 days the client should inform PPFIMAGES of this at the earliest opportunity.

GUARANTEE OF SATISFACTION

PPFIMAGES will provide you with images you can be completely satisfied with. If you are not please contact me within 7 days of receipt and I will provide you with a replacement you can be happy with free of charge.

PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

If PPFIMAGES receives any images or other material from customers that it considers to be offensive or connected with any form of illegal activity it will inform the appropriate authorities who may require it to be handed over together with all related information.
PPFIMAGES will not provide any personal information supplied by you to any third party unless required to do so by a legal authority.
Any information sent by you by any means will be held in the strictest confidence unless required to be made available to a legal authority.

U.K. law is the applicable law for all matters involving PPFIMAGES. Your statutory rights are not affected.
